Will John McCain reinstate the draft if elected in November? (published on Posterspost.com)

If McCain is elected in November and plans to continue the failed war efforts of Bush, he has no choice but to reinstate the draft. McCain is a respected military man and he knows, without a doubt, that a draft is necessary to sustain this war in the future. McCain has no plans to withdraw troops and may very well increase troop levels even further in 2009.

We can't continue to expect Reservist and National Guardsmen to continue fighting this war alone. McCain understands this and most likely he will start efforts to reinstate the draft in early or mid 2009. McCain has even alluded to a draft in several speeches and interviews.

So what does a draft mean for America? Well it means that the old era of Vietnam thinking has once again returned to America. It means that young men and possibly young women will once again have to put their lives on hold after high school to go to war and fight in a useless and unnecessary battle to dominate an impossible situation.

So what does this mean for your sons and daughters? Well if this useless war continues and more young Americans are placed in harm's way, many of these young adults will die in a foreign country before their lives even begin.

We, as Americans, have an obligation to not let another draft happen and to end this failed war in Iraq. If you vote for McCain in November, you must accept some responsibility for the death toll that will undoubtedly follow in the coming years of McCain's administration.

John McCain is a good man, but John McCain doesn't understand or see the broad implications of continuing this failed war in Iraq. Maybe his vision is clouded by Vietnam.

What are your thought?
